Video Page Overview
The Video page in the Solink mobile app displays your locations, allows you to open your cameras, and watch live or recorded footage.

Open Video
You can open a video to watch camera footage, either live or recorded, from either the Locations list or the Camera Groups list:
Each location and camera group displays:
The location or camera group name.
The ratio of online cameras to total cameras for both standard cameras (camera icon) and alarm cameras (shield icon) at the location or group.
Note: You can create and manage camera groups on the Solink web platform, not on the Solink mobile app.
To open a video and watch camera footage:
Tap on a location or camera group.
Tap a camera in the grid view to launch it:
Multi-View Video on Mobile
You can also select and launch multiple cameras (up to the app limit) and play them together in a grid:
Tap and hold each camera you would like to launch.
Select Play Cameras at the bottom of the page to launch the videos in a grid view.

Note: You can launch up to 4 videos in multi-view on mobile.
Watch Video
Tap the video feed to reveal the player buttons. Play/pause the video and navigate back and forth 10 seconds at a time:
Tap Actions
Tap the video feed to reveal these actions:
SD/HD: Tap to toggle between HD (high definition, if camera supports this) and SD (standard definition). Set the default quality in Settings > Video Quality.
Screenshot: Tap the camera icon to save a screenshot of the current moment in time from the video footage directly to your device.
Rotate Screen: Tap the square icon on the right side of the screen to switch to Landscape mode (alternatively you can tilt your phone sideways to engage Landscape mode).
Video Player Actions
The following buttons are displayed directly above the timeline (in portrait mode):
Cameras: Add additional cameras to multi-view in a grid display.
Create Clip: Save a video clip. See Solink Mobile App: Clips for more information on how to save a clip.
Motion Search: Jump to instances of motion in the camera footage based on the area of the screen you highlight. See Motion Search for information on how it works in the web platform.
On the mobile app, draw on the screen with your finger in an area where you want to find motion - for example, over a door or a cash safe. Select motion intensity (intensity levels defined in the linked Motion Search doc) and select the duration of the motion you are looking for. Any motion in the area is indicated along the timeline as a blue bar:
Camera Links: Display/hide camera links. Camera links cannot be edited or created on the mobile app. See Camera Linking for more information on how they work and how to create/edit them on the Solink web platform.
Timeline Actions and Navigation
The following buttons are available within the timeline:
Previous/Next Day: Navigate to the previous or next day using the arrows.
Day Selector: Change the day to pull video footage from.
Time Selector: Change the time of the currently selected day to pull video footage from.
Live: Tap to watch live footage.
Additionally, swipe back or forth with your finger to quickly navigate along the timeline.
Pinch on the timeline to expand/minimize the size of the timeline.
Other Player Controls
360 view: On supported fisheye cameras, tap the 360 button to interact with a panoramic view (pan and zoom).
Motion on Timeline
If Settings > Show Motion is enabled, coloured bars on the timeline indicate motion intensity, helping you find activity quickly.
Filter and Search Video
Filter or search to find video faster:
Remove or add displayed locations or location tags.
Search for location names.
