You can categorize your widgets across multiple pages of the Dashboard with widget tags.

You can tag a widget during the widget creation process and add/remove tags from any of your existing widgets.

Once you tag a widget, you can select the associated category from the top of the Dashboard page to view all widgets with that tag:

null

Note: Select All to view all available widgets regardless of tag.

Currently, you can tag widgets in the following categories:

  • Main: Widgets assigned to the Main tab are the first widgets displayed every time you/another user visits the Dashboard page. It is recommended to assign important widgets to this page.

  • Alarms: Assign video alarm widgets to this page.

  • Apple TV: Assign Apple TV widgets to this page.

  • Drive-Thru: Assign Drive-Thru widgets to this page.

  • Health: Assign widgets that track device health data to this page.

  • Revenue: Assign widgets that track revenue revenue transaction data to this page.

  • Delivery: Assign Olo integration widgets to this page.

  • Thresholds: Assign Threshold widgets to this page.

  • Labour: Assign widgets created with labour integrations to this page.

  • AI: Assign AI widgets (such as Line Cross, Zone Tracking, etc.) to this page.

  • Favorites: Can be used similar to the Main page to highlight important widgets.

Note: If you require additional widget tags not listed here, please reach out to our Support team to inquire about adding more.

Add Widget Tags

To add a tag when you are creating a widget:

  1. Select the Tag field in the General Widget Settings section. A dropdown menu appears with a list of tags:

    null

  2. Select a tag from the list to assign the widget the desired tag(s).

Once you create the widget, you can find it by selecting the appropriate tag from the top of the Dashboard page (for example, if you assigned the "Health" tag to the widget, select the "Health" tag from the top of the Dashboard page to see your widget along with all other widgets tagged with "Health").

Edit Widget Tags

To add or remove a tag from an existing widget:

  1. Select the more options (three dots) button within the widget you want to edit tags for.

  2. Select Settings:

    null

  3. Scroll down to the Tag field.

  4. Select the Tag field. A dropdown menu appears with a list of tags:

    null

  5. Select a tag from the list to assign the widget the additional desired tag(s).

  6. Select Save to apply the changes.

Note: To remove a tag from the widget, select the X icon next to the tag.
