Solink VerifEye is an alarm verification tool that allows you to review and respond to active alarms in real-time.

VerifEye allows you to quickly review video footage of alarms, determine in-app if there is a threat to person or property, then take appropriate action by choosing one of the following options:

  • Dismiss the alarm and select a reason for dismissal if there is no threat to person or property.

  • Dispatch police (send the dispatch request to a dispatch agent).

  • Close the alarm.

  • Disarm the alarm.

VerifEye Setup

The following setup is required for VerifEye:

VerifEye Phone Number

Solink will ask daily to input a phone number for VerifEye.

When someone dispatches emergency services with VerifEye, responders will contact the phone number listed in the My VerifEye Number field first. Then your alarm contacts (Primary and so on) are contacted afterwards.

Note: My VerifEye Number is available if you are using Solink's monitoring partner for VerifEye dispatch. If you are using in-house dispatch services, My VerifEye Number is unavailable.

VerifEye Alarm Contacts

Your alarm contacts are displayed on the right-hand side of the VerifEye screen after selecting "Yes" in the workflow.

A dispatch agent contacts alarm contacts after the number listed in the My VerifEye Number field.

See Alarm Contacts for more information.

Dispatch Instructions (Optional)

Dispatch instructions provide additional context for the dispatch agent to communicate to emergency services. Dispatch instructions can help emergency services better understand how to navigate/what to expect when arriving at the scene.

See Dispatch Instructions for more information.

Location Information (Optional)

From the Alarm Configurations page, you can provide Location Information to add additional context for VerifEye users.

The Location Information is displayed on the right side of the VerifEye console:

How to Verify Alarms

As soon as an alarm triggers, you can verify the alarm via the Alarms page > Recent Alarm Events.

Select the Verify button within the alarm event to begin verification:

Verifying an alarm allows you to quickly assess the situation and choose a Yes or No option in-app in response to the question: "Is there a threat to person or property?".

The following then occurs depending on whether you select "Yes" or "No":

Response = "Yes" (There is a Threat to Person or Property)

If you select "Yes", you can confirm there is a threat to person or property. The following options are available if you select "Yes":

  • Dispatch Police: Sends a request to a dispatch agent, who will contact authorities and promptly send them to the location. You will be asked to confirm dispatch if this option is selected. Please note, this option is unavailable if you are using an in-house dispatch service.

  • Close Alarm: Immediately closes the alarm event. You can review the closed alarm event via Recent Alarm Events > Closed tab. This option does not send a request to dispatch emergency services.

  • Go Back: Allows you to go back to the previous options (select "Yes" or "No").

If you dispatch police, the video footage is still accessible via Recent Alarm Events > Active Dispatch tab:

Response = "No" (There is No Threat to Person or Property)

If you select "No", you can follow up to confirm there is no threat to person or property.

You can then select one of the following reasons for why you chose "No":

  • No Person: Closes the alarm. You can review the closed alarm event via Recent Alarm Events > Closed tab.

  • Person in Public Area: Closes the alarm. You can review the closed alarm event via Recent Alarm Events > Closed tab.

  • Employee: Allows you to disarm the system for a set period of time (15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes or Until Next Schedule) or close the alarm:
