Review the following to troubleshoot issues with the tablet.

Check Tablet Light/Battery Life

Please ensure the tablet is always plugged in to a power source and is at full battery.

Take note of the following battery states to understand if your tablet is not plugged in or is experiencing power issues.

There is a physical light on the tablet that indicates battery life:

  • The tablet light is green when fully charged.

  • The tablet light is yellow when charging.

  • The tablet light is red when battery power is below 10%.

The battery icon in the top-right corner also indicates the following:

  • The battery icon displays a lightning bolt when charging.

  • If the battery level is 90% or lower, the battery icon will display red. Additionally, if it is below 90% and not charging, a notification is displayed to remind you to connect to a power source immediately.

  • If the battery level is 75% or lower and is not charging, the battery icon will blink and emit a "chirp" sound every minute to indicate low battery.

Check Tablet Icons

You can further diagnose if there is an issue with the tablet by reviewing the following icons found in the top-right corner of the tablet user interface:

When this icon is green, video from the tablet camera is currently streaming into the Solink cloud. This ensures tablet events are created and stored in Solink.

Message also appears over the video feed: "Camera is disconnected from Solink"

When this icon is red (and video feed is unavailable/error message is displayed over video feed), this means video from the tablet camera is not streaming into the Solink cloud. Ensure the tablet is connected to the supplied wireless access point. If there are issues connecting to the access point/setting it up, contact product@solinkcorp.com.

When this icon is green, the tablet is connected to the wireless network via the supplied wireless card.

Ensure the tablet is connected to the supplied wireless access point. If there are issues connecting to the access point/setting it up, please contact our Support team.

When this icon is green, the tablet is connected to the LTE network.

Ensure the SIM is inserted in the device. Please contact our support team if you are still experiencing data network issues.
