Solink's AI Package includes the ability to blur faces in footage when saving a clip. Face Blur can help you meet compliance standards when sharing video, as well as protect the identity of other individuals featured in camera footage when sharing clips.
Note: See Save Video Clips for information on how to save video in the Solink cloud and/or locally.
How to Save a Clip and Blur Faces
When saving a clip with a subscription to Solink's AI package, there is an option to toggle Face Blur on or off located in the Video Settings section.
Select this toggle to use AI to blur all faces in the clip:
Take note of the total blur duration (the amount of time faces are blurred within the clip) as this impacts your allotted monthly Face Blur minutes.
Note: Adding additional cameras when saving the clip contributes to the overall Face Blur duration.
Note: With Solink's AI Package, you receive 50 minutes per recording device/per month of Face Blur time. This time limit can be pooled across locations - so if you have Face Blur on two recording devices, you can use 100 minutes between the two.
Continue to follow the steps for saving a clip and select Save when you are ready to save the clip.
Note: Clips can take longer to process based on the length of the clip and the speed of your internet. You can exit the Save Clip modal without stopping the clip saving process. Proceed to the section below to learn how to locate your clip once it is saved.
