You can share a link to any of your saved clips as long as it is saved in the Solink cloud.
Solink allows you to share links to clips via the following two methods:
The Copy Share Link button allows you to share a clip link with anyone.
The Copy Internal Link button limits access to the copied link to only Solink users on your account.
Copy Share Link (Share Clips with Anyone)
To share a link to a saved clip:
Ensure the clip is saved in the Solink cloud (if the clip was saved locally, you cannot share a link to the clip). You can determine if the clip is saved in the Solink cloud by looking for the "cloud" icon to the right of the clip title:
Select the Copy Share Link button.
You can paste this URL in an email, message, etc. and share a link to the clip. Any person with access to the link can view the clip in a basic version of Solink's video player:
Note: You can also email a link to the clip to one or more recipients during the Save Clip process. In some scenarios, the email may be blocked by the recipient (sometimes this occurs with police or insurance email addresses). In this case, use the method outlined above to share a link to the clip.
Note: Ensure the URL begins with "share.io". Otherwise the link may only work for Solink users.
Share Internal Link (Share Clips with Solink Users Only)
You can copy and share a link to a clip with other Solink users who have access to your account. This is a helpful option if you want to limit access to the clip link.
To share a link to a clip internally:
Select the More Options icon on the clip that you want to link (three dots).
Select Copy Internal Link.
You can paste this URL in an email, message, etc. and share a link to the clip. The clip is only accessible to other Solink users on your account.
