Upcoming Changes to Multi-Device Site Management

Updated this week

Starting September 2 (rolling out over a few weeks), locations with more than one Solink Recording Device (SRD) will benefit from a more intuitive experience.

Previously, multiple SRDs at the same address appeared as separate locations in Solink—each with its own cameras, alarms, and permissions. This made setup repetitive and time-consuming.

Now, all SRDs and cameras at the same address are grouped under one location, with configurations applied once and reflected across all devices.

What's Changing?

1. All Devices in One Place

All cameras for a site now appear together under a single site view.

2. Centralized Alarm Management

Configure alarm contacts and schedules once, and they’ll apply across all devices.

3. Simplified Permissions

Grant access at the location level—no more managing permissions device by device.

4. Unified Event History

Events are consolidated at the location level for a complete picture without switching between devices.

5. Coming Soon: Multi-Device Clip Saving

Later in September, you’ll be able to save clips across multiple devices at a location. Until then, clips remain tied to cameras on individual SRDs.

Why This Matters

We heard your feedback: managing multiple SRDs at one site should be easier. These changes save time, reduce friction, and give you the full context of your business activity in one place. Whether you’re reviewing footage, responding to alarms, or managing users—you no longer need to jump between devices.
