Create helpful widgets to stay on top of important alarm metrics.

You can display alarm widgets on the Dashboard page to keep track of important video alarm metrics.

This article describes how you can create some important alarm widgets to keep track of how effective alarms are for your location(s).

"Alarms Created" Widget

You can create an Alarms Created widget to track the total amount of triggered alarms for any time frame you wish.

To create an Alarms Created widget:

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard page.

  2. Select the +Widget button.

  3. Select the "Alarms Opened" report in the Reports field:

    null

  4. Change the Data Type to "Bookmarks (Count)".

  5. Select the Use rolling time frame option.

  6. Set the Width of the bar graph to 2.

  7. Name the widget "Alarms Opened".

  8. Select Create Widget.

Once created, select the Alarms page on the Dashboard to view your widget:

"Police Dispatches" Widget (Monitored Alarm Users)

You can create a Police Dispatches widget to track the total amount of police dispatches that have occurred after an alarm has been reviewed by a monitoring agent.

Note: The steps in this section are intended only for users subscribed to Solink alarm monitoring. These steps will not work for self-serve alarm users.

To create a Police Dispatches widget:

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard page.

  2. Select the +Widget button.

  3. Select the "Monitored - Police Dispatches" report in the Reports field.

  4. Change the Data Type to "Bookmarks (Count)".

  5. Select the Use rolling time frame option.

  6. Name the widget "Police Dispatches".

  7. Select Create Widget.

Once created, select the Alarms page on the Dashboard to view your widget:

"Verified False Alarms" Widget (Monitored Alarm Users)

You can create a Verified False Alarms widget to track the total amount of false alarms that have occurred after an alarm has been reviewed by a monitoring agent.

To create a Verified False Alarms widget:

  1. Navigate to the Dashboard page.

  2. Select the +Widget button.

  3. Select the "Monitored - Verified False Alarms" report in the Reports field.

  4. Change the Data Type to "Bookmarks (Count)".

  5. Select the Use rolling time frame option.

  6. Set the Width of the bar graph to 2.

  7. Name the widget "Verified False Alarms".

  8. Select Create Widget.

Once created, select the Alarms page on the Dashboard to view your widget:
