It is very important for alarm contact(s) to be able to receive and respond to a notification when an alarm is triggered. If an alarm contact has enabled “Do Not Disturb” on their device and a Solink alarm is triggered, the contact may not see the notification until later.
It is highly recommended that an alarm contact configure an exception for Solink (and the monitoring service if you are subscribed to the Video Alarms Monitoring Service) on their device to avoid missing out on immediate alarm notifications.

Change Notification Tone for Specific Contact
You can change the notification tone on your device so that any incoming alarm notification from Solink or the monitoring service has a distinct sound. It is not necessary to configure a specific notification tone for your alarm notifications, but it can be helpful if you want to ensure you are notified and can respond to an alarm promptly.
