You can manually arm or disarm the alarm within the Alarms page in Video Discovery.
Additionally, if you are using an alarm schedule, you can choose to either:
Arm the alarm before the schedule begins.
Disarm the alarm before the schedule automatically disarms the system.
See the actions described below if you want to manually arm, disarm or resume the alarm schedule:
Bypass the Alarm Schedule
The following buttons allow you to bypass the alarm schedule (if the alarm is following a schedule). This means you can arm and disarm the alarm and ignore the scheduled alarm periods:
Arm Indefinitely: Select the Arm button to arm the alarm immediately and ignore the schedule:
Disarm Indefinitely: Select the Disarm button to disarm the alarm immediately and ignore the schedule:
Turn Alarm Schedule On: If you have chosen either of the two options above, the schedule is no longer in effect. To turn the alarm schedule back on, select the Schedule button:
Temporarily Arm or Disarm During Alarm Schedule
If you have enabled an alarm schedule, you can choose to arm or disarm the alarm system immediately; the alarm schedule will still begin or end during its regularly scheduled time. See the overview below to understand these actions in more detail:
Arm Now: If you are using a schedule and the alarm system is currently unarmed, select Arm Now to arm the alarm immediately. The alarm system is temporarily armed until the next schedule period ends - when the schedule period ends, the alarm system automatically disarms as usual. See image below for reference:
Disarm Now: If you are using a schedule and the alarm system is currently armed, select Disarm Now to disarm the alarm immediately. The alarm system automatically arms again when the next scheduled period begins. See image below for reference:
Resume Schedule: Select Resume Schedule to resume the scheduled alarm period. See image below for reference:
