Solink provides the ability to monitor the outside of your locations with our Outdoor Alarms Monitoring.
Solink Outdoor Alarms integrate with your cameras in much the same way that we can integrate with your indoor cameras. Our cloud-based AI detects if there is a person within the alarm motion zone during an armed period, then passes on the alert to your alarm contact(s) or a professional monitoring agent to review the incident (method depends on your Solink alarm subscription, outlined below).
Outdoor Alarms can be enabled on the following Solink Alarm Products:
Self-Monitored (basic alarms service included with Solink and does not include AI detection)

Deterrence Add-Ons (SIP Speaker, Strobe)
You can equip any of your alarm cameras with a Solink-approved speaker and a strobe light which you can use to deter loitering, suspicious actors and trespassers on your property.
If using our Self-Monitored+ option, a member of your security team can initiate the strobe light and speaker to let individuals onsite know they are in a restricted area and must leave immediately.
When active, the strobe light flashes similar to a police light as shown in the following example:
You can activate the SIP speaker and talk directly into your device (computer, laptop, etc.) by selecting the icon in the bottom-right corner of the video player:
If using our Professionally Monitored option, a verification agent will do the work for you - first, a pre-recorded audio message will play from the speaker in an attempt to deter trespassers, then the agent will talk directly to the individuals onsite to inform them that police are on their way.

Where to Locate Outdoor Alarm Events

Outdoor Alarm Events
Outdoor alarm events provide direct access to video footage of the outdoor alarm, allowing you to review the incident in detail. If a speaker was initiated to deter trespassers, you will also see simple speaker information including the exact time the speaker was activated and completed.
You can locate outdoor alarm events via the Events page > Alarms tab:
SIP Speaker Call Log Events
SIP speaker call logs provide you with information related to the call, including:
Duration: Call length, in seconds.
Phone Number: If someone called into the speaker (for example, a verification agent), the phone number is listed in this field. Otherwise, if someone activated the speaker directly through Solink (via the speaker icon in the bottom-right corner of the video player), the Phone Number field will display the Solink username.

Outdoor Alarms Verification Process (Professionally Monitored Only)

The verification process for Outdoor Alarms is nearly identical to that shown in the diagram below.
However, if you have an installed SIP speaker and strobe light with your Outdoor Alarm camera, the verification agent can play an audio message to deter individuals on site. If the individual(s) do not leave, the verification agent can call directly in to the speaker and instruct the individual(s) to leave the premises immediately and inform them that police are on their way.
