# Copy and Share Event Links (Internally)

Share links to events with other Solink users.

You can copy a direct link to one of your events and **share the link with anyone else who has access to your Solink account**.

**Note**: Sharing a link to an event is different than sharing a link to clip saved in the Solink cloud. See [Copy and Share Clip Links](/docs/review-events-and-save-evidence/clips/copy-and-share-clip-links-external-share.md) for information on how to share clips.

To copy and share an event link:

1. Find the event you want to share.
2. Select the more options (three dots) button:
3. Select **Copy Link**:

Once you have copied the link, you can share the URL via email or message with someone else with access to your Solink account.

**Note:** Copying a link to an event does not save the event - ensure to save an event (select the [**Save Clip**](/docs/review-events-and-save-evidence/clips/save-video-clips.md) button) if you want to retain the event later before it ages past the retention period.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.solink.com/docs/review-events-and-save-evidence/events/share-and-favorite-events/copy-and-share-event-links-internally.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
