October 15, 2026

Updates in this release include:

***

## New Features

* [Line Cross Search](/docs/understand-your-business/ai-features/vision-analytics/line-cross-search.md): Added [**Path Analysis**](/docs/understand-your-business/ai-features/vision-analytics/line-cross-search.md#path-analysis) feature, available in the **Line Cross Search** configuration window. **Path Analysis** allows you to see where people/vehicles travelled within the camera view during the selected time range:
* [**Zone Tracking Events**](/docs/understand-your-business/ai-features/vision-analytics/zone-tracking-events.md)**:** Added [**Zone Occupancy Tracking**](/docs/understand-your-business/ai-features/vision-analytics/zone-tracking-events.md#track-zone-occupancy) feature, available in the Zone Tracking Events configuration window. This new feature allows you to configure a zone to track and create an event when a maximum occupancy that you define is reached (for example, if 5 people or 5 vehicles are in the zone, create an event).

## Enhancements

* [**Service Display Monitor (SDM)**](/docs/understand-your-business/ai-features/service-display-monitor-getting-started.md): Added [new widgets](/docs/understand-your-business/ai-features/service-display-monitor-getting-started/service-display-monitor-user-guide.md#sdm-widget-types):
  * **Live Feed**: Shows rotating live video from cameras tied to your tags.
  * **Total Journey Time**: Tracks **average time** from journey start zone to end zone (full lane), for completed trips only.
  * Time and count widgets now offer a 15-minute time horizon.
* [**Investigations**](/docs/review-events-and-save-evidence/investigations.md):
  * Added a new **Details** tab that provides a summary of the Investigation. The **Edit** button was relocated to this tab:
  * Added a "More Actions" icon for each Investigation on the main landing page which allows you to:
    * **Edit** the name, visibility, and description
    * **Archive** an investigation, or **Re-open** an archived one
    * **Copy** a link to the investigation. Only the creator can open a private investigation. Any user in your organization can open a public one.
    * **Delete** the investigation for everyone in your organization
* **Video Search**: A search with no results now shows tips to help you adjust it, instead of only "No results found." Available in English, French, and Spanish.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.solink.com/docs/release-notes/web/2026/release-15-59-path-analysis-maximum-zone-occupancy-tracking-and-more.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
