# Dashboard on Android

This guide provides an overview of how to navigate the **Dashboard** page on Android.

The Dashboard consolidates key information from your business - such as customer transactions, discounts, refunds and motion detection statistic - and displays the information in a variety of helpful widgets.

You can create and edit widgets in the browser version of Solink and then view them from the Dashboard page on your Android device. Currently you cannot create or edit widgets on Android, so please ensure to check our main [**Dashboard and Widgets**](/docs/understand-your-business/create-widgets/what-is-a-widget.md) guide for help configuring widgets on your browser version of Solink.

**Note: Camera Group** and **Event Ticker** widgets are currently not supported by Android devices. If you have created these types of widgets, you can still view them from your browser Dashboard at [solinkcloud.com](http://solinkcloud.com/).

### Filter Widget Data on Android

You can filter widgets by a specific time period when displaying widget data.

**Note:** It is not currently possible to filter by location on the Android Dashboard. This feature will be added in a future release.

Tap the time period buttons near the top of the screen to display widget data from a specific **Day**, **Week**, **Month** or **Year**:\

**Note:** If there is a "lock"icon displayed below the widget, this means the data in this widget will not update when you select a filter. See [Pinned Widget Data](/docs/understand-your-business/widget-configuration/set-widget-filters.md) for more information.

Select the left and right arrows below the time period buttons to navigate to different timeframes:\

You can also tap the calendar icon in the top-left to change the date.

### Navigate Android Dashboard

Depending on the type of widget and data displayed, you can tap throughout widgets to highlight specific data points:\

You can also pinch with two fingers to **zoom** in and out of a graph.

**Note:** It is currently not possible to highlight data points for stacked bar graphs.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.solink.com/docs/release-notes/legacy-apps/android-app-help/dashboard-on-android.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
